Tyler was a loving husband to Emily, a caring and gentle father to his two children, a thoughtful and helping son and grandson and a best friend to his sister. He was the light in his mother's eye, the pride of his father, the best buddy to his grandfathers and the smile on his sister's face. His smile lit up a room, he was magnetic, his joy contagious, everyone wanted to be around him. His sense of humor was a gift to all around. His giving was endless, he would do anything he could for anyone. He always tried to cheer others up, he had a kind and generous heart. His children, Zailee and Ryker, meant the world to him. His family was his highest priority, and he considered his friends family. Tyler loved cars, both driving and working on them. He has been an avid video gamer since he was a child and loved playing Minecraft with Zailee. Even as adults, he and his sister Tiffani would often play video games online for hours. As we all do, we get wrapped up in the everyday things of our lives as we move on with our adult life with the families we are trying to create, Tyler made time to visit his grandparents, checking to see if he could help with anything needed. He wanted to maintain that closeness.
Tyler has lived a life tougher than he deserved but rarely complained other than calling it his bad luck. By the age of 26 he had two knee surgeries, spinal surgery, and a stroke in November 2019 that left his left leg paralyzed from the knee down. Even through all that, he still managed to bring love and joy wherever he went.
The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long. Your physical pain and suffering is now over my child, may peace forever shine upon you.
